This Privacy Policy explains how OMEox ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the service at omeox.toolparadox.com.

OMEox is a small educational and demonstration project built to explore browser-based video chat with Google sign-in, Supabase, and ZEGO. It is not presented as a large commercial platform, and we aim to keep data use limited to what is needed to run and evaluate the demo.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use OMEox, we may process:

• Account and authentication data such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image when you choose Google sign-in.
• Profile and room data such as your display name, room identifiers, invite metadata, and simple room membership records needed to operate the demo.
• Technical and diagnostic data such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and error logs processed by our hosting and backend providers.
• Real-time communications data processed by our call provider to establish and deliver audio/video sessions. We do not claim to store call content ourselves as part of normal demo use.

2. How we use information

• Provide sign-in, room creation, joining, invites, and live call functionality.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot bugs in the demo.
• Evaluate and improve the app for educational and product-learning purposes.

3. How we share information

We may share or expose relevant data to service providers that operate parts of the app, including Google for authentication, Supabase for authentication/database/serverless infrastructure, and ZEGO for real-time media services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, or the service.

4. Data retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the demo, review usage, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary by data type.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate for a small demo app, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

7. Children

OMEox is not intended for children who require parental consent under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the demo evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when material changes are made.
